Chris WoodcockFormer press journalist, Chris, has over 20 years’ experience in the communications industry, both in the media and as a consultant. She has worked with dozens of large international and smaller food and manufacturing businesses since the mid- 1980's, ranging from ingredients and flavours producers to fmcg brands in food and beverage. Strategic and corporate and internal communications briefs have been common, alongside media training, complex issues management linked to safety and regulatory risks and media relations in many forms. Chris is also a renowned crisis, risk and issues expert in Europe, having invented and run one of the world's foremost crisis communications and media training services when she was a Group director at her previous consultancy. The service won the profession’s first award for Innovation in Consultancy Practice. Product recalls, company restructures, mergers and acquisitions, product related and regulatory issues and corporate controversy have all been tackled by Chris and her teams.
