The College Hill Razor risk and business continuity management service is growing rapidly and is seeking a capable account manager to work across our London-and-Oxfordshire based teams.
This is a one-off ‘hybrid’ role – spanning the domains of communications and media, as well as risk management and corporate governance. Hence, the role will require a background, ideally, in both risk management and communications, plus plenty of consultancy and business development know-how.
As a highly experienced consultant, with a solid consultancy background, you will have worked mainly in the B2B arena.
Hands-on experience of crisis, risk and issues management and process design is a must, and a good track record in operating with both the food industry and international clients would be an advantage.
A bedrock of excellent media relations is also required, and the ideal candidate will also have considerable experience in providing strategic guidance to clients. If you have training and facilitation ability, that would also be of great relevance, as we design and run a wide range of risk and simulation training, along with many forms of media coaching.
Experience in managing teams and organising complex programmes is important. This would be a key role in our consultancy and would be perfect for anyone keen to make a difference to our growth, in the UK and internationally, with a view to you developing your career in the College Hill group longer term.
The role could be based in either in our offices in the City or Oxfordshire and carries a competitive salary and a potential equity package for the right candidate.

Opportunities and business growth are moving rapidly at Razor and College Hill. To help further build the team in both our London and Oxfordshire offices, at College Hill, we are looking for an executive with at least 1-2 years' experience in consultancy.
The role will be based in our London office, at Tower Hill,or our Oxfordshire office and report to a senior team leader (yet to be appointed) as well as work alongside client teams and managers who are based in Oxfordshire.
We are seeking an excellent media writer who might also have experience of crisis and risk management and / or media training. If you have worked in the food and drink market or in manufacturing, anywhere in Europe, that would also be an advantage.
You need to relish new challenges, be keen to learn about risk management but also get a genuine kick out of providing strategic media advice and helping brand managers and boardroom teams to convert complex issues and messages into internal and external communications deliverables.
The work will be varied and demanding and stretch you into new business development areas, as well as offer experience of fascinating skills sets in risk management and facilitation, often not on offer in less specialist PR practices.
